I think I was successful as a friend and a team member in Charger Trails. In Hog Calls I listened to everyones ideas while not interrupting and used hand signals to signify what the names on their backs were. I was successful in helping people find their matching words and I found my matching word every time. In the maze we all shared our ideas without interruption in the second maze. In the first maze I didn’t cooperate with people that much and that took a lot of time. In the second maze we got our ideas and I cooperated much more and solved most of the puzzle. I helped people that forgot the way to go and we solved in within 3 minutes it seemed. In marble challenge we got our ideas out quickly and efficiently and we solved the problem using a good technique that we all agreed on. I shared my idea on the second challenge but it failed because people weren’t listening anymore. That is where we fell apart and nothing could get people to listen to a good idea. I think I that I was successful at cooperating as a friend and as a teammate.

1. How did Egyptians live in the valley of the Nile?
Wedged everything together even rich and poor people houses
Royal /Government officials lived in larger cities

Lower class houses make out of only mud brick Upper class houses were plastered and painted but still with mud bricks
Laborers shaped mud into rectangular wooden molds and were left to bake in the sun
Kept out intense heat of the sun
Were built facing north to allow wind to come through the house
3. What are the differences between the housing of the rich and poor?
Lower Class:
Few rooms that are narrow Low ceilings
Few tables and a bed

Character Favorites In Seedfolks
The Character that I admire and like the most is Tio Juan. He is the best character in the book. In the book Seedfolks, he is very sad and not understood because all he knows is farming and he doesn’t know how to speak English. I can relate to that. When I am trying to do something that makes logical sense and the person who works with me glue guns my arm, I feel misunderstood. On that day I felt sad because I had a burn. It is not for the same reasons but I still felt that way. Even though life was tough he still didn’t give up on life. He always knew that one day he would be able to do something meaningful in life. And he knows so much about gardening! He planted all the seeds in his bag with a lot of effort but he was enjoying himself. When I am helping plant plants, I don’t have a lot of fun doing it. Tio Juan has the most perseverance and courage in the book Seedfolks.
Greece the place I want to go
|
I would love to visit Greece with all of its beautiful sites and mythology surrounding them. I would love to eat all the enticing food and talk to the citizens and learn about their religion. I would love to see the temples with their intricate patterns and the people who worship their gods. I also want to see the plants and animals that reside there. I think Greece would be an awesome place to go and I would love to go there.
