Marble luge, Hog call and the Maze

When we did these activities I thought that our advisory bonded well with each other  but, we didn’t let every body share these ideas. I think charger trails was a wonder experience to have with my enrichment class. The activity’s were challenging but once you get the hang of it it was just a game. Marble luge was where was had 12 PVC pipes and one marble the marble cant touch the floor but the person withe the marble can’t move but have to get it in the cup. I think this challenge was difficult because we didn’t know how to approach it. We never did complete the challenge but were very close. The Hog calls were where we had a word taped to our back and then had to match them with each other and we couldn’t talk. This one was easier challenges because people would point to each other and they would match up. The last challenge was the maze… The was was a four by four mat. Then we would have to complete it without making any noise unless we would restart. This was the hardest challenge because if we made one mistake you had to restart I think many leaders rose up and helped each other.

How do the gods create and rule the world?

  • The Egyptians believed that the gods created and rule the world
  • Some gods are more important than others
  • Each god serves a particular purpose or need the keep the world in balance
  • Osiris, god of the dead, feeds hearts of deceased people that weigh more than an Ostrich feather to the monstrous Swallower.

How does each gods get a certain animal head?

  • Gods get their head by what they do in their life
  • Example Anubis has the head of a jackal because he is the god of necropolis which is represented by a jackal or the undead.
  • Horus the god of the sky had a head of a falcon because they fly.

Does each  temple only allow certain people to enter the temple?

  • There are festivals to celebrate gods
  • On select occasions gods do not allow everybody in their temple, but usually they let everybody in
  • However there are small structures outside of the main temple area made for the common people.

What did commoners pay to let their gods and goddesses in their home?

  • Made offerings of food to the gods in their house
  • In return the gods protect them
  • The people asked the gods for kids
  • As well to keep the bad spirits away

My favorite Seed Folk character

What I admire about Kim is not how she rebels or does something else and people thinks she’s strange. What admires me about her is that she starts trends. Some things Kim started were she started a trend by planting. Kim planted a few beans because she wanted to be closer to her dad who passed on. Her dad planted when he was younger so she could relate to him. Then an older woman that saw her and then that’s when the trend started. The woman called upon a farmer or a man to churn the soil and plant the plants. Plus that when everybody saw the plants and were anxious to plant. Then it became a “paradise”.
