Community Friendship

I tried to help in all the events we did, and made improvements. In the maze, everybody did help. I helped to make sure people didn’t mess up when doing the maze. We already knew most of the route when I came to help. I also helped in the maze by finding new paths for people to go to. I helped as a friend by trying to cheer people up, and make new ways to try in the marble challenge. In the marble challenge, I never failed. “I haven’t failed yet, I just found 10000 ways that won’t work.” By Thomas Edison.

Crafts And Trade

Crafts and Trade

Johnathan Wright

Q: What did the craftspeople do, and what training did they receive?

  • Made art for pharaohs, wealthy families, and temples.
  • Villagers can get the art for extra farm produce
  • Pictures are inspired by nature
  • Used simple tools to make it, materials being different stones and metals

Q: Where and when did the craftspeople go to school?

  • They are really young when they go to school
  • They often go to school with Royal kids at the pharaohs palace

Q: Where did the Egyptians trade?

  • Traded at cities and towns along the Nile
  • They traded gold, copper, linen, gemstones, and other materials.
  • Received Timber, iron, silver, tin, and lead. ( items they didn’t have much of)

Seedfolks Favorite Character

Sam seems to be the nicest person in the Seedfolks book. He is looking at everything, from the size of the gardens to the room number somebody looks out from. He is a good character in this book because his goal is to try to make things better in the world. In this case, he is trying to make the vacant lot a better place by trying to get the trash out of it. If everyone is happy, Sam is happy. Sam is my favorite character in Seedfolks.

St. Louis, MO

St. Louis

I would like to visit St. Louis for many reasons. One of the reasons is because my dad was raised around there. I would also really enjoy visiting the Arch, which in fact has an egg-shaped elevator. I think a good time to come would be October, when it isn’t freezing around (also the MLB postseason, which the Cardinals are looking up for). Of course, the most important reason that I would like to go to St. Louis has to be because of the St. Louis Cardinals! I think that I would have a great time visiting St. Louis.
