Community and Friendship

Hog Call:

What I did at this challenge was help direct the people to there appropriate match and helped them get paired up. I sort of did what a lot of people in my advisory did and did some traffic control signals to guide them and tapped on their chairs to get their attention. I felt like more of a team member on that one.

Marble Luge:

This one I really focused on getting to talk more. The challenge was not as important to me. I was more worried about not connecting with my advisory. Then near the end of the challenge I focused on getting the marble in the cup, but I was a friend on this challenge.

Maze:

This challenge was what I thought was the toughest challenge. We weren’t all getting out our ideas and it was a bit of a struggle. Near the end of the challenge we found a great strategy and it was so effective we got to do two mazes. On this challenge I was a team member. Like most people when I finished the maze I tried to guide the people who where still trying to get across. I was a team member on this one.

The Embalming

1) Take out the inner organs except for the heart

2) Remove the brain by hooking it through the nostrils

3) Put the body in wooden boxes and put natron on it

4) Wait 40 days

5) Wash it, oil it, and wrap body in several hundred yards of fabric

6) Spread black gooey substance called momia

Seed folks character favorites

The character that I choose was Leona. The three things I like or admire about Leona is that she is willing to fix the lot even if it means going to extra proportions. That she does not settle for being on the phone and being put on hold, but she goes out and decides to tell people in person her problem with the vacant lot. When it comes to fighting, she is not physical, but vocal and that’s a trait that most people don’t have. I can relate to Leona because when I see something that is not right I always listen to what my dad always tells me, “If you see something wrong, don’t just stand there, fix it and make it better.”

Great Wolf Lodge

Great Wolf Lodge

I would like to go to Great Wolf Lodge again. The reason is because Great Wolf Lodge has lots of fun activities that I would love to go and do again. There is a Magic Quest you could go on or you could go and check out their waterparks. I also enjoy the rooms. They are very nicely decorated. My family and I have made lots of funny memories and enjoyed our stayed there last time we went. I would love to go one more time and make more!
