In the Charger Trails Challenges this morning, our team did pretty well on The Maze and we almost completed it but people would make the slightest noise and everybody would fail. We also did pretty well on the Marble Maze and figured out a way to pass the marble along with everybody always holding a PVC pipe. In the Marble Maze we made a big plan before we started and used THE GOLDEN SNITCH as a object that you have to hold to talk. We didn’t do so good at Hog Call but we still managed to (almost) complete it in under 3 minutes.

They died their hair with henna which was a red dye made from powdered plant leaves.

- More wealthy people tied cones of perfumed animal to make their wigs smell good.
What kinds of cosmetics did Ancient Egyptians use?
- Ancient Egyptians used perfumed oils to soften their skin as well as keep it from burning and cracking in the desert.
- They colored their eyelids with a green substance which was made from a soft stone called malachite.
- They also outlined their eyes with black kohl, which was lead mixed with water.

The character I chose was Gonzalo. I like Gonzalo because I think his name is cool. I like his name because I think that it sounds Mexican and I like Mexican names. I think he is funny because he just learns English by watching cartoons. I like that about him because I sometimes watch movies or videos in different languages too. I also like how he learns more at the end of his chapter. I like that because I think it is funny at the end when he watches Tio Wan garden and has no clue how to garden himself. I think that I can relate to him because sometimes I too think things that aren’t exactly true but I normally change my thoughts of that later.
