During the Charger Trails Challenges my team and I were very successful. We did very well showing support and respect to each other as well as giving each other constructive criticism. One of the things we did best was taking everyone’s ideas and sorting them into groups instead of just yelling over everyone else’s ideas. During the maze someone came up with the idea that whenever someone made it to another square we would clap which suppressed the urge to call out in excitement and have to start over.

Where did people live in Ancient Egypt?
- Most people lived in towns and villages
- Lower-class people often between larger houses of wealthier families
- Upper-class and nobles/government officials in larger cities
- In the Nile valley
What were the houses made of?
- Mud bricks
- Nile mud in wooden molds left to dry in the sun
- Upper-class houses were often plastered white
What were features in and around the houses?
- Upper-class houses often had a tree shaded pool, flowers, bushes, tall walls, two stories, central courtyards, guest rooms at the front, kitchens at the back with servants quarters, toilets, rugs, and lamps.
- Lower-class houses had a table, a bed, one story, one room, and sometimes floor mats.
- Flat roofs for extra space
- Doors facing north to capture the wind and circulate air

Character Favorites in Seedfolks
In the book Seedfolks one of my favorite characters is Kim. Her father died eight months before she was born a Vietnamese farmer. She moved to Cleveland with her mother and big sister. When she was nine years old she planted some lima beans in hope of showing her dead father’s spirt that she was his daughter. People noticed her planting and watering the plants in the vacant, trashy lot and started to do the same. She indirectly started a community garden that brought people closer. Soon the garden was big enough to be a small farm, with people growing lettuce, goldenrod, tomatoes, and flowers. I also imagine how hard it must be for her every year when her family greave the father she never knew.
I Would Like To Go To Paris
I would like to visit Paris sometime the near future for many reasons. I have never been before but my family has told me about the wondrous things they had encountered while traveling the city. First, they told me about the food. The fast yet seemingly perfect sandwiches on fresh baguettes sound delicious. Then the amazing French dishes of beef and seafood are to die for. Second they told me of great landmarks with very interesting history to them. One of the most interesting was the Palace of Versailles which was home to many of the French rulers throughout history. Last they told me of the kind French people. Everywhere they went waiters and waitresses would help them pronounce French appetizers and entrees.
