Community and Friendship

I think that I was successful as a friend and as a team member because I helped other people out and I didn’t try to make people feel uncomfortable.

For the Marble Luge, I thought we were struggling at first because we kept doing the same strategy. Then we thought of a new strategy and it worked well. We were inches from completing the task, but we were unlucky and missed the cup. I think that I had continued the idea of Alex L.’s idea of chopsticks, but thought of an alternative. Now that think about it, I think there was a better way of completing the task, which was to put everyone behind the person with the marble, so it was easier to get in the cup.

For the Hog Call, I think we did very good. We figured out how to get the partners together fast, because people were helping each other. I think that we should have had 1 or 2 leaders instead of everyone being a leader because it would make things a lot faster. Though, we thought as a team and successfully completed the challenge. I was trying to help people know what there word was by referring to gestures and other words.

The Maze Challenge was probably the harder than the rest, but with the help  of Ms. Lund, we were able to complete the task faster and more efficiently. We did a line, instead of one by one. I think that we could have worked on everyone agreeing on a certain position instead of pointing at a square and never changing their mind. I think that I could have improved on helping people.

Overall, I think that the challenge required a lot of teamwork, but was most importantly: fun.
