Community and Friendship

In the charger trails, I think that I was both a good friend and a team member because I had ideas to help my team with the activities. In The Maze, I took my time and let people show me the right path to take. I also helped Emma get through as the last person. I was also a friend my being friendly and contributed to the common goal.

In the challenge, Hog Call I helped my advisory group by giving them the idea to have only 1 person look, and pair up the other 5 people, and the one without a match was my pair. I was funny with my enrichment group, and we al laughed at one point or another. I was a teammate by cooperating and just go with the flow.

In the Marble Challenge I helped my team by trying to connect my tube to the others and try to get the marble from one cup to the next. We didn’t complete the challenge but we had lots of trial and error. I was a good teammate by contributing ad cooperating, I was a friend by hanging out and being friendly with all the kids in my advisory.

My Favorite Character

So far in SeedFolks, my favorite character has been Tio Juan. So far in the book, I have completely understood him, and knew how he was feeling. I liked him because he came to America and was trying to learn English, and he’s really trying to communicate. He is still trying to figure out how America works, for instance, when he stood in front of the lady with the hair dryer, he had never seen anything like that in his whole life. I also admired Tio Juan because he was trying to help people. In the end when he showed them how to plant the community garden, he felt that the towns people could understand him since he was helping them. I can relate to Tio Juan because I am learning Spanish, and on my first day, I truly couldn’t understand anyone and didn’t know how to communicate.

My Place

Goodberrys

I would like to visit Goodberry’s, because I really love ice-cream. It’s a hot day and I really, really, really are in the mood for some cold, ice-cream/custard. I really love chocolate so I try to get lots of chocolate with lots of sprinkles, and Oreos.
