Angry

I was walking to work, unfortunately. Why do I have to go to work? I hate work. Waking up early to do something I hate with a bunch of morons. I work at one of the World Trade Centers, commonly called the twin towers. I’m done with this year, even though it is only September 11th. Work starts at 9:00 am, and it is currently 8:45. This morning has been horrible, I spilled my coffee on my white shirt, and had to iron a new one. I see a plane, its speed is dashing, and altitude is very low. In New York City planes should never fly that low. What a bad pilot. I look down to my feet and suddenly hear a very loud sound, louder than any sound I’ve ever heard in my whole life. I scream while I look up. The plane was gone, and there was a huge whole in the building where I work in.

Expectant

Everyone around me was looking the same direction as I was, astonished. I have never seen anything like it. The Building had a hole in it, almost like a holed piece of paper. Some people were screaming, calling 911. 15 minutes after screaming and disorder, there was another plane, same speed, same height, same direction. After looking at that plane for a couple of seconds everyone could know what that plane was going for. Screams became louder and louder the closer the plane got to the second tower. I could almost hear the countdown in my head. 3… 2… 1… Bam! The same loud noise went for round two. A hole in the second tower. Everyone started running, including me, we thought that the third plane was gonna crash on us. While we were running, the first tower collapsed completely. Sending a cloud of dust outwards, the cloud was racing toward me, and people started to push and shove. Someone pushed me into the sidewalk, my head crashed against a street sign. I stood there, on the ground not being able to get up. I was amazed how people completely ignored me. The air got darker and darker, and soon enough I couldn’t see anything, I started to cough and cough. The last thing I heard was another loud noise, the second tower collapsed. I closed my eyes and lost consciousness.

Cars of the 23rd Century

It is 2015, and today’s car has changed immensely from the first car. Most of the controls and screens were unthinkable 100 or even 80 years ago. 80 years ago, cars were very rare, like a Ferrari or a similar rare sports car. Only the very best cars of that era had radio, and maybe a little fan for the air conditioning. Today everyone has at least 1 car. Most of the people have 2 or more. The smooth look and texture on the outside, and the elegant color. In the inside, most of the cars are leather. The very best cars have a multi-use screen that can be used as a music source, GPS, air conditioner manager, and more. You are the person that controls the sound in the car and the temperature, the temperature isn’t just the temperature of the air but the temperature of your seat and even the steering wheel. Every year the workers of every car company spend sleepless nights figuring out what the next big, innovative idea will make their cars the very best.

It is 200 years later, in 2215, and you step into your car, there is no door in this car, it’s just a chair that is held up by two wheels. The chair is like memory foam on steroids. It is actually made up of a comfortable material that remembers you sitting positions and makes them the best experiences possible. A magnetic force field blocks any wind and bugs from coming in, and your body from falling out. The car works at the same frequency as your brain, making features like the sound barrier easier to use. The sound barrier is something that can be activated so that the sound from outside stays outside, and the sounds like music says inside. You can lower the opacity of the magnetic force field to let some air in. You get a 360 view, but is not as green as it was 200 years ago. There are very few trees, and you will only see 3 types of them. Even though technology has made our world better, it has also been eroding some of the good things on Earth.

Diction Writing

It was the last turn in the race. I felt my body go up and down as he was galloping. Betty, was that name of my horse. Only one person in front of me, I’m catching up on him. I pass him on the inside of the turn. I’m on the lead, the finish line ahead of me. Suddenly, a thought came to mind, how many likes would this get? A shot right before a big victory. I hung by the horses neck, hanging there. I pulled out my emergency selfie stick. Facing the horse I said in a soft voice, “Cheese!” Right after, I passed the finish line. The crowd roared.
