Water surged like a tropical hurricane down the street, as a lone man jumped out from a building. Landing on his feet, Jerome sprinted down the alleyway, only to find his way blocked by enormous waves. The barrage of water lapped Jerome’s back as he launched himself out of the way of the rampaging maelstrom. He careened into Main Street, landing on his side. Jerome immediately looked around to find a way to escape the discharge of water. Looking for a car, he spotted his 1952 Porsche. He found a woman attempting to break in, striking on the car window. Normally Jerome would have yelled at the hobo for attempting to steal his car, but seeing as he could not leave her to the malevolent tidal wave, he unlocked the car and allowed her to enter…
