For our first project, we are choosing to make something similar to a sphero, like a miniball.

Our sphere came in on Tuesday, but it had like a little nub on it so you could hang it like an ornament. This had to go. So we took the saw, and after clamping half of the sphere to the board, sawed the nub off on both halves. Now we have a perfectly functional sphere for our miniball, and we are currently waiting for the electronics to come in so we can start to make it move.

Another cool thing is that the miniball is solar powered, so we are being eco-friendly, and you never have to take the miniball apart to put new batteries in it.
