Letter from the Editors

Dear Reader,

It’s been a while! Thank you for bearing with us as we’ve navigated the trials of high school deadlines. As spring emerges and we near the end of our time at CA, we’re realizing that this may be one of our last issues as editors in chief – but we’re still thinking about how to cover the next couple of eventful months at CA.

Though it seems like the beginning of an end for us, as seniors, the entire freshman class will step foot on campus next week and attend classes together, for the first time. After what can only be described as a dull and difficult year, we’re able to look forward new beginnings even as a grand finale looms over our heads. We can’t wait to see what yellow mode brings for the Upper School, and to feel a relaxing sense of unity among our five hundred-something peers and teachers.

We want to thank our writers for this issue: Salim Alvi (’24), Lily Bastin (’23), Bela Chandler (’23), Isabel Chang (’24), and Ella Gupta (’23). Your creativity, as always, is so appreciated! And to Ms. Buie, thank you for your effortless advising time and again.

We hope you enjoy this issue, and happy yellow mode!

Sincerely,

McKay Lucas and Claire Ferris

Editors in Chief
