Students prepared yesterday by learning camping skills such as setting up tarps, bear proofing campsites, and “leave no trace”. We also watched Artifishal, a documentary on the impact of fish hatcheries, in preparation for visiting the Nantahala Outdoor Center. Students will attend local fish hatcheries, visit waterfalls, and experience whitewater rafting.
