On the same trip to the Int. Civil Rights Center in Greensboro we took a detour to the Historic Magnolia House. According to their website (https://www.thehistoricmagnoliahouse.org/), the Magnolia House was “one of only four Green Book sites in North Carolina.” It lodged traveling Black people who were not allowed to eat or stay at other establishments during this time period and boasts an impressive list of residents from James Brown to Ike and Tina Turner!
