Day 7 – Writing for College Newspapers

This afternoon, we had three visitors: Andrew Schnitt (@AndrewSchnitt53) and Aditi Dholakia ’14 (@AditiDDholakia) who had written for The Tcchnician at NC State and Jacob Hancock (@jhancockTDR) who wrote for The Daily Tarheel. They spent an hour with the class talking about their experiences writing in college and what the students could do if they were interested in writing for their college newspapers. They also talked about getting involved with writing in high school and how that and internships could open doors to other opportunities.
