Grandparents Day by Avery Foster

At CA, we recognize and celebrate the many important roles that grandparents and other special friends play in the lives of our CA families. Last month, CA had such a good time honoring these important members of our extended community by welcoming them on campus.

Campus-wide– across faculty, staff, and students alike– Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Day is one of our favorite days of the year. Teachers ready their classrooms, excited to welcome visitors for discussions, and our students swell with pride to share their CA experience with their special visitors.

Meredith Fultz, a Cary Academy junior, stated, “I really love Cary Academy for their passion to see students thrive and have fun by bringing in their beloved family members. I really appreciate all they do for us. Maya Gupta, another junior, added, “I think that Grandparents’ Day is an amazing way for families to be included in student life and for students to decompress.”

Students cherished sharing their classes and showcasing their talents- from band performances to Upper School science experiments- with their guests. It was a day filled with love, learning and unforgettable memories.
