Student & Parent Information Session for the 2015/2016 All-School Musical
Monday, October 12, at 7:00pm
in Berger Hall Theater
All Cary Academy Students interested in participating in this year’s All-School Musical are encouraged to attend this information session with their parents. This brief and informal gathering will give faculty members the chance to answer the many questions that will arise as students consider their involvement and prepare to audition.
The production, its cast, crew, and orchestra requirements, as well as time commitments and volunteer opportunities will be discussed. An overview of rehearsal and production dates will be provided, and audition materials will be distributed.
Important Information
All Cary Academy students are eligible for participation. Auditions will be held October 19 – 21 from 3:30 to 6PM. Callbacks are scheduled for October 26 – 28 from 3:30 to 6PM. Orchestra auditions will take place on November 9. There will be 3 performances in February 2016; dates will be decided by the information session. The Musical is an EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITY; all rehearsals will take place after school, usually from 3:30 to 6PM.
As participation in the play requires the highest commitment on the part of the student, those students who are offered a role will need to choose between the production and other after-school activities during the winter trimester.
