We spent the morning with the 3rd year students, equivalent to our freshmen, drawing mandalas with pencils and chalk (and listening to them tirelessly gossip about relationships).
After some riveting ping pong matches during break, we came back to the art room to pick up the cloth bags we dyed on Monday. The instructor explained why some of the pigments had faded after being exposed to the sun while some hadn’t. The students also showed us their art portfolios, including a really good sketch of New York and some very creatively horrifying self portraits.
For lunch, I ate pork, sweet potatoes, and cake, then went to play more ping pong. After that, we spent the whole afternoon playing board games, much of which was spent actually figuring out how to play and not lose the game.

After school, the girls went to get merienda consisting of alfajores, lemon bread, cookies, brownies, and much, MUCH more! And don’t forget the absolutely cinematic fiery gossip. After a long and tiring day, we finally went home to eat dinner and relax.
Finally, I watched a match with Cata’s dad between Argentina and Chile, featuring Messi the GOAT! Unsurprisingly Argentina won 1-0.
