Students Create Interactive Virtual Handbooks on Countries in the Middle East by Katie Levinthal

6^th Grade Work Cultures students created their own Middle East Nearpod presentations. The assignment required students to research a country in the Middle East. Next, they worked together to create an interactive virtual handbook to teach other students in the sixth grade about their county. The interactive components allowed students to be creative and required them to make educated decisions about which information needed to be reinforced. This project culminated with a Middle East feast and explore day. Students visited each the Nearpods while tasting some food from the Middle East prepared by Chef Sam. It was a successful project!
