Today I was able to sleep in a little, so I woke up around 10. Then, I headed downstairs and ate a pain au chocolat from the bakery for breakfast. We didn’t have any plans right after breakfast, so I just hung around the house with Scott for a little while. For lunch, we ate chicken wraps which were super good. In the afternoon, Scott and I went to get some groceries at a little corner store that had anything you could think of. Next, we stopped at a friend’s house where we played some video games before heading back out to meet some more friends. But first, we went to the shopping area near the center of the city. Most of the shops were closed because it was Sunday, but we did buy some toy watches we thought were funny at the supermarket. With our new accessories, we met up with some more friends and went to the park, where we were able to join some people who were playing soccer. We managed to win 5-4, then we headed back home. For dinner, my exchange family and I shared a pizza and a couple croque-monsieurs. As we ate, we watched Roland-Garros (The French Open), then we ended the day by watching an episode of Fort Boyard, a French game show, which I thought was pretty funny. So far the trip has been great and I am looking forward to the rest!
