This morning started off great as I slept until my alarm and thankfully didn’t face much jet lag. Then I went into Juliette’s room and had to wake her up as she’d already slept through her alarm that had been going off for the past 30 minutes. Anyways, we ate breakfast and were out the door by 7:20. We headed to the tram where we met up with Margot (a friend not in the exchange) and some others while we walked to le lycée for breakfast. Afterwards, we went for a walk around Tours, first going to le Cathédrale Saint-Gatien, where, after exploring, Alex needed to pee and couldn’t for the life of him figure out how to get the door on the public bathroom to shut (so of course, we all watched as he fought with this thing for at least 10 minutes)… Next, we went to a marketplace with some of the best framboises I’ve ever had and une torsade suisse au chocolat (which was also delicious). After lunch at le lycée, we went to the Musée des Beaux-Arts, which was beautiful and super interesting… After that, Juliette and I went shopping and then to a café before heading home. Once we got back (by tram), we made crepes, ate dinner, ate the crepes, and went to bed!
