Today everyone was doing activities with their host families. My correspondent, Sophie, took me with the family of Grace’s correspondent, Jeanne, to an amusement park. The park was called “Puy du Fou”. In the park there weren’t any roller coasters, instead there were amazing shows where people preformed, danced, did magic tricks, did tricks with fire, and worked with trained animals. There were also a lot of cool special and sound effects. Most of the shows or “spectacles” were themed around French history and had really cool stories. My favorites were one that took place in a Roman collesium and one that was like being in a trench during WWII. Overall it was a really cool experience.
