On the weekend I experienced what is ultimately one of the coolest most highly awaited things in my life; a real, legit, non-parent secretly taking the photos- photoshoot. Now obviously I wasn’t the model, it was my corres Constance but it was still very cool. It was about a 3 1/2 car ride to Rennes, the place of the photoshoot. I met the makeup artist as well as the photographer who was were very cool. The spoke a little bit of english which was cool but I spoke mostly in french. I spent 4 hours with them watching the whole process: seeing all the different outfits and looks. At the end the photographer allowed me to wear the clothes and to be in the closing shots with Constance. Looking back on my poses I think I could have done infinitely better, I do feel as though I let myself down a bit. After the photoshoot we drove home and I watched the kardashians and ate soup and bread. It was genuinely a great day other than the fact that I was a little tired. So far the trip has been great, I’ve been getting lots of sleep and drinking loads of water- my two favorite things ( accept chinese food of course). I think it’s incredibly interesting just to see even the smallest of differences between the culture here and back home. To begin with the drink tea out of a bowl here which is kind of bizarre. Other than that there was not a massive difference that I observed in terms of culturally. Although- it seems as though the meals are a little different. Moreover, you eat dinner incredibly late here and dinner consists of bread.. Bread..and bread with a side of bread. I’m not complaining though, Atleast the bread is good ! So far in loving france, it’s great!
