Because we went to Joann Fabrics to get our materials for our final projects we then got to work on our projects, we learned a lot about measuring fabric, how to work a sewing machine, and winding bobbins using the machine, we were taught this but putting it into practice under a time crunch made it sink in much more and there was definitely a learning curve but we worked and we got it. After we worked in the morning we then got to interview a head of costumes for the Hallmark movie company, Jen Philips. She works to find what is authentic for the character, the time, and the activity the character is a part of. She talked to us about the process of doing this, and what steps she goes through.
