Today, we all tried savory baking because we’ve all had a lot of sugar for the past week and wanted to switch things up. Yesterday, each group picked their recipes so the amount of ingredients could be calculated and bought. My group made some fluffy pull apart dinner rolls with cinnamon butter and garlic butter on the side; other groups made things like bacon scones, pretzels, breadsticks, and also Brazilian cheese bread. While waiting for our doughs to rise/bake, we watched an episode of the Great British Baking Show. Finally, we tasted everything and then went off to lunch.
