Today, the Cook it and Book it DT made German food, thanks to the instruction of Ms. Fahr and Ms. Oon’s friend, Jurgen. We made an authentic vinegar-y potato salad, a sweet and spice filled apple cake, and learned about the comparison of real life Germany to America.

In the afternoon, we explored downtown Cary and visited shops like the African Caribbean Market, Toyo Shokuhin, and La Bonita. Everyone tasted new treats like Slaps lollipops, Horchata, and Ramune. All in all, it was a busy day!
