In the morning of 5/26, we started by brainstorming different design ideas for the pond that we were going to lay out and begin digging later that day. We had to lay out a pond with certain dimension specifications, a plant shelf, and a little bit of personal flair. Once we had the basic design for our pond, we then had to calculate a rough estimation of the volume of our pond. After that we presented our group’s pond, we had a vote on which pond design we should use. Once this design was decided on, we spray painted the rough shape of the pond and began on loosening dirt and digging.
