The day began with some donuts and some fierce competition. The DT-ers were split into two teams and tasked with answering trivia questions, creating “scattergories” style lists, and remembering obscure athletes. Team Diverse topped Team William thanks to an impressive effort and performance and, of course, good sportsmanship. The morning concluded with the general managers turning into designers and designing home, away, and city edition jerseys for their teams. Following lunch, the designers continued their marketing foray by creating programs, posters, and promotional schedules.

THOMAS:

“I made my home, away, and city jerseys today in class by coloring different designs with purple black and white. I feel like my away jersey is the best.”

RUSHABH:

“Today I made a home away and city jersey for my team. I also made a poster and had a fun time playing trivia.”
CONNOR:
“Today I worked on setting up the home, away, and team jerseys for my team. The main colors for these jerseys were yellow and brown which are the color of a cheesesteak. I also used the color black to outline the jerseys borders and numbers.”
WILLIAM:
“Today we made three different jerseys for out teams. I like my jerseys because all three are very different and unique. Afterwards we made posters and programs. I made a team schedule and information about the players on my team.”
CHANCE:
“Today we played trivia which was fun and my team won so that was good then we made these jerseys which I didn’t finish but I’ve got a good idea going. After this, we made promotional night ideas and I thought of some good ones but got stuck after a little.”
SCOTT:
“Today we designed jerseys for our team. My main colors were orange and blue since those are the colors found in a flame. I’m happy with how my jerseys are turning out so far.”
DEREK:
“With the name “Nightcrawlers” and the location of New York City, I decided to incorporate dark purple, blue, black, and yellow as the primary colors on my jerseys. The home/away jersey is pretty standard, with some flare on the sides (inspired by the Bucks). The city jersey payed tribute to the most iconic structure in NYC: the Empire State building, with a color scheme inspired by the night sky.”
NOAHWAL:
“My jersey colors are dark green and orange they compliment each other well. When I think of Atlanta, I think of green and I wanted my jerseys to reflect that. Also, whenever I think of Atlanta, I also think of rappers that live and were born there like Gunna, Lil Baby, and Future. I have promotional nights surrounding the rappers, I called it “Baby and Friends,” also other promotional nights that surround authentic foods and giving out player jerseys.”
KESHAWN:
“Today we made some cool jerseys and promotional stuff for our team. I think I have the best jerseys and some pretty fun promotions. These are the events for my team seeing as we are in one of the best cities in the US.”
