We started off the day at the farmer’s market to buy fresh ingredients for our own farm to table lunch. While searching for the needed foods, we also stopped at a few stands, such as the German bakery stand, and bought delicious treats for ourselves. Later, we used vegetables from Cary Academy’s very own garden and ones that we bought at the market to create primavera pasta and salad (with Kit’s homemade Italian dressing!). Using the fresh strawberries and peaches we got from the market, we made a very yummy dessert and ended the day on a sweet note.
