Today we visited blue moon bakery and talked to the owner. She was super nice and talked about how she got into baking and showed us some of the crazy cakes she made. She also talked about some of the hardships of baking cakes financially and during covid. I thought it was cool how she decided to keep all the original recipes today. After we went to a German bakery where we talked to the owner and she told us about growing up in Germany with different foods. She explained some of the German desserts and where they originated. She also introduced us to her daughter who will keep the baking legacy going.
