Mega Minds DT, checking in post-sugar rush!
First, we played a googly eyes board game. Sounds basic, right? The catch was that the googly eyes impaired a drawer’s ability to, well, draw. In a pictionary style game, this impairment showed how your brain relies on all senses in order to process and deliver information.
Later, we took out our bundles of jellybeans. Each person who wanted to participate ate the jellybeans while having either their eyes covered or their eyes closed and noses plugged! Only 3 people were able to correctly guess the flavor out of the dozen that participated. Everyone decided that it depends on the flavor, which explains part of it for sure. A jellybean with a stronger, more distinct flavor like lemon will obviously be easier to decern than a subtle pineapple. This even further illustrated the way our brains rely on sense to process information fully. And how jellybeans are just plain delicious!
Until tomorrow,
