Today during our discovery term we started off by going over a PowerPoint about the history of film. We talked about the origins of film and did a challenge where we tried to guess what year the first moving picture was made. We also talked about different film makers, such as Alfred Hitchcock, and how they shaped the way we create films to this day. Along with looking at different directors we also looked at different movie quotes and tried to guess what movies they where from. After this we watched the newest batman with the hopes of comparing it to batman dark knight, which we watched yesterday. We found that the two batman movies where very different. They both had similar traits to them such as the plot of Batman trying to catch a bad guy however they have very different undertones and themes within. Overall todays experience during our film DT was very entertaining.
