Today, the Cook it and Book it DT tried many new kitchen techniques when making Vietnamese Spring Rolls and Nasi Lemak, a Malaysian dish. Whether our members were roasting peanuts, peeling eggs, rolling spring rolls, or watching Ms. Oon show off her skills, we all were able to have a hands on experience.

Later, we ventured to Asali Desserts and Cafe to learn about the history of Hanadi Asad and Jamaal Ali and their passion to start their business. We were able to enjoy many new treats like macarons, baklava, and tiramisu as well as relish old favorites like brownies, cake, and mousse.
