Today was an exciting and fun-filled day to kick off our DT! We went on a tour of our very own gardens at CA and brought some plants that were growing in the greenhouse to our butterfly garden. In the afternoon we went to the SAS farms and met Daniel Holloman, the manager of the farm. He taught us about regenerative farming, crop rotation, irrigation systems, crop sharing, and much more. We also saw papaws which is one of the only fruits that are native to our area. We even got to taste edible flowers and strawberries!
