Lastly, Tuesday afternoon was spent working on the presentations again. This time I chose to depict a character who inspired me, Ruby. Her storyline focused on her struggle to find the freedom to be who she wanted unapologetically; however, often times she felt as those her identity as a Black person and a woman was often times “interrupted” by the 1950’s Jim Crow society. This line about her being interrupted inspired me to include her in the final presentation’s banner!
