Ms. Monds came in to speak with us about how to relax and destress. Little did we know that Ms. Monds had a fun bubble activity planned for us.
We headed outside the CMS with two bubble blowers in hand. We knew that this would be fun, but challenging was far from my mind. Ms. Monds wanted us to practice our breathing, but I was confused about how bubbles would help with that, I quickly realized that it wasn’t confusing at all. Bubbles require breath control if you have a specific goal. Our goal was to blow one and ONLY ONE bubble, let’s just say this took more than 1 try. We proceeded to do two, three, four and up to five. We repeated this with the other style of bubbles which based on your control could have been much easier or way more difficult.
You might think this was a struggle, but we then had to work together to make our bubble combine, now this was the real challenge. Not only did we practice our breathing we had to practice communication. Monica and I struggled, but once we had a system it worked out great! You will not believe what Ms. Monds made us do next. She made us combine with another set of two! The wind was not our friend so our bubble popped every time we blew them, but Maggie and Isabel were great with their control and made it very easy for us to combine with them.
