This morning we had the chance to speak with Dan LaTorraca, the senior director of marketing for the Carolina Hurricanes. He was honest with us about the realities of working in the sports marketing industry, describing his long workdays and around-the-clock schedule. He demonstrated to us that sports marketing is a difficult field, but one that is also extremely rewarding. Mr. LaTorraca has experience working in a variety of sports markets, he spent time with the Carolina Panthers, the Brooklyn Nets, and now the Canes.
