After having a nice Papa John’s lunch, the owner of the Toyota Tacoma, who happened to be Mr. Shepherd’s neighbor, dropped by to help us with changing the struts and coil springs of the front two tires. These coil springs are very important with the suspension system a functioning car necessitates for providing a safe and comfortable ride. The process started out simple, with a simple tire removal being the first step. After that, we had to replace the struts by unscrewing bolts firmly set in place and tapping out the last remaining part with a mallet. Then, the opposite was done with adding in a new strut, as we fixed it in place by screwing nuts/bolts.
