Today, during Grease Monkeys, we visited the Wheels for Hope where they give away cars to people who are in need of transportation. Before these cars are given away they go through a thorough check-up by many mechanics. I got to view all the steps to the check-up and watch a mechanic work. We learned about how to tell if the battery, the oil, and the air filter were good or not. We went inside the interior of the car and checked if everything was working. After we lifted the car up and worked on brake pads. Then we got to go under the car and learn about all the parts. It was the first time I got to clearly see under a car and I enjoyed it the most.
