This morning, our discovery term group traveled to the Gregg Museum of Art and Design. We started our excursion in a Charger bus, driving to the museum on NC State’s campus, and eventually arrived at our destination. Although we were expecting more textiles and fabrics inside the museum, we still enjoyed looking at the ceramics and usage of colors in the different exhibits. We also spent our time watching a rolled film without sound, finding amusement in the translations and actors. After taking many pictures and laughing about the unexpectedness of the museum, we ventured to our next destination, hoping to find a spot that could help us with our planned project when we returned to campus.
