Wednesday also brought our second visitor to talk about sports journalism. Adam Lucas, who writes for GoPack.com and Born & Bred for UNC came to talk about how he was able to use his passion for Carolina basketball to create a job that would make many envious. He gave the class great tips on getting started and making connections. Mr. Lucas is the father of McKay (’21) and Asher (’23).
Wednesday afternoon the class decided to combine the need to be active with journalism. The filmed a 2 v. 2 basketball game and had halftime and post-game interviews.
