Day 2: Representative EJ

Hello all. I am the one consistent representative of the group. Everyone else is hashing it out daily. That was item 1 of the agenda.

No coffee was made for Evan today (especially not by Nousha. She inquired whether she should give him an apology coffee to redeem herself. We all vetoed the idea).

(Another) picture with Fred was taken. We are now besties. #Fred4Life

meeting with the execs was supposed to happen. It did not. Instead we worked some more and pet some pretty cute dogs. 10/10.

that’s all,

EJ

Day 2 – Colin

  • To start off the second day we went back and found even more retail companies to get a grand total of 100 different companies
  • We also found several companies in the catering and food supply category and did the same task
  • For lunch we got Subway and then rode electric scooters around downtown Raleigh for the remainder of our break
  • After lunch we began searching for contacts from the companies we originally found
  • oh and we also played some ping pong

Day 1 – mPro5, EA

On the first day at mPro5, we were split into groups of 4 and 5, with my group researching Janitorial Service companies. There were a few criteria, mainly being the business has to make $10M+ in revenue annually, and has to provide external or internal cleaning services.  I unfortunately left early due to an allergic reaction, so I didn’t get to continue researching throughout the day.

Ivy’s Day 1

  • I took an extra-long commute today! (see below)
  • Researched and presented clientele for mpro5’s inventory management services
    • We finished way ahead of schedule! The plan was to take the whole day but we bashed it out in a couple of hours & Fred really liked it
    • We also built up a spreadsheet with quite a few extra companies that didn’t make the presentation
  • We also discovered a new place to go!
    • Visited Morgan street food hall
    • Consensus:
      • Don’t get the Indian food, it’s really spicy and not well packaged
      • Their east asian food is really good!
      • Avoid the panini’s

MPRO 5 Day one

Started with a group meeting

-discussed the 2-week objectives

-researched potential clientele

-searched for commercial cleaning companies with revenue exceeding 10 million dollars in annual revenue

  • Companies must meet the criteria of the 10 million annual revenue in order to add to the list of potential consumers of MPRO 5 technology

EJ Day One: Market Research

  • Struggled to find parking but were still on time (met the dog in the office)
  • team meeting to discuss the objectives of the internship project, met Fred! (he’s great)
  • beginning research on the North American market for possible clientele for MPro5. Realization: Market research is not easy.
  • chewed through 1.5 packs of gum. The internship life isn’t a walk in the park.
  • overall 10/10. Excited for tomorrow.

    Nousha, Me, Fred

Day 1- Nousha

  • First me and EJ learned how to pay for parking in downtown Raleigh
  • We began the day with a presentation describing the purpose of the company along with the incentives of our project
  • We split into two groups, and my group is researching US based cleaning services that mpro5 can target to develop their business
  • We are continuing to research companies that contain a revenue of at least 10 million, with the companies preferably being local
  • I gave Evan a cup of coffee with almond milk not knowing he was allergic to almonds

Day 1 – Colin

  • Once introduced to Mr. Self and Mr. Whipp we were given a debrief on the company and its goals
  • We were divided into groups and set off on the task of finding potential companies in the U.S. that mpro5 could target
  • My group focused on retail companies
  • Our research was set on criteria such as annual revenue, total employees, and number of locations and was compiled into excel
