EJ day 6: post memorial fun

Hello all. It’s day 6, hope everyone had a good memorial weekend.

Daily Fred flicks! Fred is looking extra Fred today too #Fred4Life #FredAndIAreBestiesNow

Today we’re focused on PPCs, which is basically advertising words on search engines to get more clicks. MPro5 is having us research possible key terms to invest in, and we’re presenting that and a general overview to a marketing director in England.

Most of us are working diligently.

adieu,

EJ

mpro5 WEP Day 5

The group was pretty small today, with it just being Colin, Michael, EJ, and I. We submitted our competitor reports for our given areas of research. Colin and Drew reported on facility management. Ivy, Sydney, and I reported on task management software competitors in the retail sector. Finally, Michael, EJ, and Nousha reported on competition in the hospital sector with an interesting potential hospital client. Chelsea was out sick today too, hopefully she’ll be better by Tuesday. We’re still looking into the best SEO terms for mpro5 to invest into, as next Tuesday will be the day they allocate money for PPC (Pay Per Click), which would improve they’re searchability. We’re reporting on our continued SEO findings in a powerpoint next Tuesday.

Day 5 – Colin

  • Today we only had 4 people, Evan, Michael, EJ, and I
  • For the first part of the day we wrapped up our research concerning mpro5s competitors
  • It started storming so we took some time to admire the storm from the great view in the office space
  • Then we ran to subway for lunch
  • Came back and started working on research concerning pay per click and making a PowerPoint to present to the marketing head in London

EJ takes on Day Five

Hello. It’s day five, Friday! It’s only me, Colin, Michael, and Evan. Small group! (everyone else is sick or has something else).

Even though we’re a small group, I will not deprive you of the daily Fred flicks. A quote from Fred today:

“I’m still working three jobs. It’s kinda hellish”

-Fred

Fred! (sitting edition): hard at work. #Fred4Life

#Fred4Life. Anyway. Since it’s a small group we’re continuing to work on the reports on competition. We met Barry the other day (chairman! the big boss!) he was very nice. our presentation of SEO’s went well.

I’m thinking of ordering chiptole delivery for lunch to reward myself for a successful week. Will keep y’all updated.

Day 4 – Colin

  • To start off today we finished writing our marketing emails and finished our keywords project which took the entire morning
  • For lunch we went for round 2 at the Mexican restaurant and it was just as good as yesterday. I was also charged $46 by the electric scooter company for who knows why.
  • After lunch we presented our keyword research to the founder/chairman of the company, the CEO, and Fred of course!
  • The rest of the day was spent on a new assignment which focused on mpro5s competitors and what they are doing right and what they are doing wrong

WEP Day 3 & 4 (Ivy)

Yesterday was REALLY busy, from tirelessly working on powerpoints to compiling reports to frantically google searching; yesterday was a rollercoaster. This all started when Fred (#Fred4Life) tasked us with search engine optimization. mpro5 needed to be on the front page of google for people to recognize it, which makes sense.

For context, (also to answer Ms. Sellers’s question) mpro5 is a digital workflow management software that tailors its services based on its clients needs. It was started in 1996 in the UK and only expanded to the US a year ago. They service large and reputable clients like the UK National Health Service and the UK grocery chain, Tesco.

Today, we presented our findings to the Fred and his entourage, (the CEO and Founder) and it went well! We got a lot of praise and constructive criticism, as well as a history lesson from the founder, very informative!

elevator.

EJ Day 3 and 4

Hello all. Yesterday was very busy. So today will be a comprehensive list of both days.

To accommodate, there are not one, but TWO Fred pics for your enjoyment. Double the Fred, double the fun. #Fred4Life is still going strong.

Yesterday was busy, mostly from writing up reports on keyword identifiers in search engines to see where MPro5 can improve marketing. We completed a presentation on our findings, including marketing strategies and areas we see a need for improvement, due to the new nature of the company in North America.

Today we’re focused on presenting our findings from yesterday and continuing research, this time on competitors of MPro5 in North America, which we will be presenting tomorrow. lots of presentations.

Nousha and I are going to try to meet up with Nitya, Elle and Michael for lunch to form a mega intern group.

Day 3 – Colin

  • To start off today we had a brief meeting with Fred to discuss our next assignment
  • We began working on finding key words that the companies website could use to put them on the front pages of google searches. This task was actually very difficult and confusing though we made it through
  • For lunch after some navigation confusion we found a hidden gem in Raleigh which was a very good and cheap Mexican Restaurant
  • We also rode the scooters again until we learned you could get fined for riding them on the sidewalk so we decided to stop
  • Finally we began working on some email drafts that could be sent to potential clients to introduce them to the company
  • Michael the pro scooterer leading us to nowhere

Day 3- Nousha

  • Discovered I got a parking ticket
  • Began a new project to research key words that would contribute to mpro5 appearing onto more people’s first page from a google search
  • Presented all projects to both Mark and Fred
  • Continued to research names/contact info of hospital CEO’s to see if they are incorporating mpro5 into their systems
  • Brainstormed a future action plan for mpro5v (included adding a slogan & targeting more “in need” companies)
  • Presented all research to Fred & Mark

Day 2 (Ivy)

  • We did a lot of work in the morning!
    • Finished up the spreadsheet (found 100 companies & their relevant info)
    • Started gathering contacts
    • Bonded with Fred & Mark
  • We went to the Morgan Street food hall
    • Armed with the power of hindsight, we rejoiced in much better food this time around
    • We also met up with friends from other programs!
  • dogs
