Throughout my experience at Hemlock Bluff animal hospital I believe I am more likely to purse a veterinary career. Growing up, I have always loved animals. I really enjoyed my experience working with different dog and cat breeds. The doctors at the veterinary hospital were very helpful and encouraging of the field. Furthermore, the Doctors were very passionate about their line of profession, and they found enjoyment in helping other people. I really loved learning about the different medicines and procedures of veterinary medicine.

Day #3 Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital
Today, I shadowed and watched how and IV catheter is inserted into an animals vein. In addition, I watched how animals (cats and dogs) are intubated.
Day #2 Hemlock Bluff Veterinary Shadow
Today, I experienced the extraction of a tooth on a cat that has gingivitis. In addition, I got to shadow the exam of a beautiful eight week old lab.
Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital Day #1
My first day at Hemlock Bluff animal shelter I shadowed a spay of both a dog and a cat. Furthermore, I shadowed a dental cleaning and extraction. The image attached is a five month old Golden Retriever recovering from her spay.
