I have unfortunately been struck by illness, so yesterday was my last day of work experience. Recently, I have was asked to provide more relevant details in my blog posts by one of the teachers. With this in mind, I want to start this final post on the right foot. We actually went to a new place that was really interesting. It is called Digital Productions right near CA. I starred in an ad for the town of Cary and got to learn about getting started in the video production industry. We also practiced filming and using the camera. Today we were going to edit but unfortunately I cannot make it.

 

NOW THAT THATS OUT OF THE WAY 💀💀💀….

Emerson Sauls LOVES chick fill a. He walks up to me every day and asks “can we go get chicky wicky 🥺🥺 pwease” and I say something like “uhhh maybe later but rn you’re stuntin ong” because he is lowkey freaking me out. One time I went with him and this is what he did the ENTIRE MEAL. He literally just started talking about some random stuff and I was like “nahhh 😭😭😭”.

 

This blog has brought so many people together. I had my mom read through this the other day and she just kind of looked at me funny before she asked me if this was graded. My brothers freshmen friends all read this blog too. Even non-binary people in Michigan read this blog.

Heres a lil bonus pic to show how happy I am rn. Somehow I have to turn this blog into a power point now. I hope you guys have a good summer…

Today was insane. We recorded guitar for a song and it took 2 hours because they stopped for a 1 hour and 45 minute lunch break. We also discussed mortgages.

Dick and I are truly doing gods work.

I’m personally feel great about my blog. A lot of people have actually came and told me how much they like it which is super great. I’m glad you’re interested in the work I’m doing.

More importantly, Joshua Baird’s prom fit was SO FIRE and we are not talking about it enough. Lame how this picture has 4 pixels in it, but it’s on Joshua’s Instagram if you want to screenshot. The shade of red he picked for his pocket square was super unique. Shame he didn’t get any solo flicks in the outfit tho. They could’ve gone hard. I think everyone needs to take some time to think about their fashion as well. Some of y’all are showing up to school in some really mid fits, and at prom it was even worse. I saw one dress what looked a little bit like a carpet in my grandmas house… what is up with that? Please work harder and do better for the future. Additionally some of the posts I saw had no editing and they were dark? it is so easy to fix these simple problems in this day and age. PLEASE work harder or I’m probably going to unfollow you. Did y’all know I was the McCall fan account? Super interesting stuff.

And also in the studio today we worked on tracking vocals, it was incredibly interesting and helpful to see how the producer helps the artist give their best vocal p

erformance and shape the record. Truly jazzed by this opportunity.

 

Today was truly riveting. We sat down and helped a creole-french voice actor with her recordings, and then exported them.

Real talk, how did this guy get so freaking tiny?! Look at that…

Wow. What a crazy action-packed day. I feel like I can finally grasp some of the mastering techniques that felt out of reach to me. We listened to a bunch of songs that Dick had worked on in the past to see what was good and not so good about them.
