On our second to last day, a Wednesday at French West Vaughan, we got to do plenty of hands on work relating to reporter contacts for the PR department, influencers for the social department, and more looking over of RFPs (requests for proposal). RFPs are submitted by companies looking for ad agencies, and ad agencies review the RFPs and create proposals if they are interested in the possible client.

Day 1 FWV
Today we sat in on internal meetings with French West Vaughan employees and got to ask lots of questions. We also got to tour the downtown office and learned lots about the day to day of FVW (French West Vaughan) operations. We mainly met with Alaina Ruggery in our contacts with FWV.
FWV – Last Day 6/2/22
Today we sat in on some more internal meetings and worked on compiling lists of reporter contacts for PR work. During the last half of the day, we were able to visit a set where French West Vaughan and a production company were working together to create a safe driving TV spot for NCDOT (Department of Transportation).
French West Vaughan – Joshua Baird
There was no work day today, and our people at French West Vaughan recommended that we sign up for and attend the “Creative Morning” that was being held at the art museum from 8:30 to 10:00 this morning. Creative Mornings are held monthly, with great numbers of chapters around the world. This month’s theme is “NOW”. A lecture about creativity, the “now”, and his personal life was given by Dasan Ahanu, an award-winning poet. After giving an enlightening and inspiring speech, Dasan fielded some Q&A questions about his personal life, struggles, and creativity as a whole.
I found it very informative and interesting.
