Final Day, mpro5 Evan A.

On the final day at mpro5, we created a catered social media strategy campaign for mpro5. In this presentations, we showed Fred Whipp which social media platforms bring in the best results, which is instagram and TikTok right now. Additionally, we continued our search for potentially consumers of mpro5 software, compiling a comprehensive list of customer prospects in the 3 different sectors (retail, hospitals, facility management). I’m very appreciative for this work experience as I got to truly understand what real world marketing and sales is like, and I was able to learn lots of applicable skills like SEO keyword search and Pay Per Click advertising. I’m very happy with how efficient our group of interns performed, and I look forward to seeing all the different activities  this work experience will lead to throughout the summer.

Evan Day 7, mpro5

Today we’re finishing up our final presentations for the work experience. The presentations are focused on our final findings, specifically the SEO terms and graphs each group found/made. Additionally, the presentations are focused on what we did the past 2 weeks, and each person will speak about what they learned while at mpro5. Besides SEO terms, each group will present their potential customer prospects for their given sector. EJ’s group found Wake Forest Medical Center as a potential client, while Ivy, Sydney, and I’s group found smaller retail convenience stores, like CVS, in need of task management software. In all, I’ve learned so much new information about marketing and sales, and I’m looking forward to these skills carrying over into the workforce.

mpro5 WEP Day 5

The group was pretty small today, with it just being Colin, Michael, EJ, and I. We submitted our competitor reports for our given areas of research. Colin and Drew reported on facility management. Ivy, Sydney, and I reported on task management software competitors in the retail sector. Finally, Michael, EJ, and Nousha reported on competition in the hospital sector with an interesting potential hospital client. Chelsea was out sick today too, hopefully she’ll be better by Tuesday. We’re still looking into the best SEO terms for mpro5 to invest into, as next Tuesday will be the day they allocate money for PPC (Pay Per Click), which would improve they’re searchability. We’re reporting on our continued SEO findings in a powerpoint next Tuesday.

Day 1 – mPro5, EA

On the first day at mPro5, we were split into groups of 4 and 5, with my group researching Janitorial Service companies. There were a few criteria, mainly being the business has to make $10M+ in revenue annually, and has to provide external or internal cleaning services.  I unfortunately left early due to an allergic reaction, so I didn’t get to continue researching throughout the day.
