Today, we had three sessions: Meraki, Data center, and AppDynamics. From these three sessions, a lot was exposed to how CISCO functions separately.
The first session was Meraki. Meraki was especially interesting because of its involvement in privacy, security, and cloud data. Meraki gives the power of seeing who uses the router and blocks specific websites. In addition, the motion sensors on cameras allow for any unusual detection. It was most interesting that cameras could be trained to spot people and whether people wore masks.
The second session was Data Center which stored important codes through the network. If any mishaps happen, all the data is stored and there is an edit log that records all the changes.
Finally, the third session was AppDynamics. AppDynamics gives further insight into why an app crashed or is being slow. It helps find the problem causing it and easily gives a solution to the problem.
Overall, today we learned more about the layers of security of CISCO. Every architect helps how the company runs in some way.
