Today was my second day of my psychology independent study. Specifically, I dove deeper into psychology cognitive psychology. First, I watched a video on the chemical mind and a video on getting to know the brain. One main thing that I learned is that everything psychological is biological. Neurons are information messengers that make up the nervous system. They use electrical impulses and chemical signals to transmit information between difference areas of the brain the rest of the nervous system. As neurons meet with neurotransmitters emotions and actions are translated. Next, I read an article on cognitive psychology. Cognitive psychology focuses on the mental processes such as the human though process, the use of language, learning information and how humans perceive the environment.
