Today was my third day at the Summit Hospitality Group. I spent my day with the HR department (Human Resources). The role of the HR department is to manage everything regarding people. They strive to enable employees to be able to effectively and productively contribute to the company. Additionally, Human Resources try and cater to the needs of the people in the work force. Each person is different and is in a different circumstance; so hospitality is very important regarding the work force. It was interesting to see this side of a company which is often overlooked.
